Escape of water is the most frequent household insurance claim in the UK, and the damage it causes is rarely limited to what you can see. Water travels along joists, soaks into insulation, saturates chipboard flooring and wicks into plasterboard well beyond the visible stain. Left unmanaged it leads to mould, decayed timber and blown plaster months after the original leak was fixed.
We deal with the whole event: isolating the source, lifting and removing unsalvageable materials, installing drying equipment sized to the affected volume and monitoring moisture content until the structure reaches target readings. Only then do we reinstate, which is why our repairs do not come back.
